Congratulations! The wedding was a lot of fun. You're right - there are so many things about marriage that you can never prepare for. Today is our 2nd anniversary and in two short years, we've learned more about each other than I could have ever expected. We are still two different people, but as time goes on, we rub off on one another. Of course, we always try to pick up on the things we admire about each other. She's learning more about organization, while I'm learning more about loosening up and enjoying present-time instead of always focusing on the past and future. We balance each other out.

One night Jackie and I were playing pool with an interesting divorced man at a local bar (I've come to appreciate meeting different kinds of people) and I'll never forget our conversation. He talked about his kids and ex-wife for a while, but then offered a little cliche that will stick in my head forever: a couple that prays together and plays together stays together. Cheesy, yes, but I really like the message behind it.

Anyway, we'll continue praying for you guys! Thanks again.
